Alex Romo founded Green & Clean Landscaping with a pickup truck, a trailer, a used mower, and a vision inspired by his entrepreneurial roots in León, Mexico. After spending twelve years working at Costco, where he developed expertise in customer service, operations, employee development, and business management, he took a leap of faith to pursue his dream of building a landscaping company. Starting with neighborhood lawn care services, he gradually grew Green & Clean through hard work, reinvestment, and a commitment to providing exceptional service and creating opportunities for others.
Today, Green & Clean Landscaping has grown into a diversified company providing landscape maintenance, hardscapes, irrigation, lot sweeping, and snow removal services throughout North Carolina. Alex attributes the company’s success to the dedicated employees, mentors, clients, and industry partners who supported its growth. His leadership philosophy is rooted in a simple belief: people achieve their greatest potential when given the right tools, training, and encouragement. He often reminds employees that they are “eagles, not chickens,” encouraging them to continually grow and exceed their own expectations.
